Universal NUTLOC™ Fittings
DIG’s Universal NUTLOC™ Drip Fittings connect several sizes of blank drip tubing or dripline ranging from 1/2” to 5/8” in size (16 to 18 mm). The NUTLOC™ fittings are reusable, heavy-duty drip irrigation fittings that provide a practical and easy solution when there is uncertainty about the precise size of the drip tubing or dripline installed. The NUTLOC™ fittings’ design utilizes a body with a barbed connection and a locking nut to ensure a secure, tight, and fast connection between separate pieces or varying sizes of drip tubing or dripline and are available in a range of configurations for all types of landscape in residential and commercial installations.

About
The Universal NUTLOC™ drip Fittings provide a simple, low-cost method for the installation of dripline and drip tubing. Using the double barbed fittings, dripline or drip tubing is pushed over the barbs for a very tight fit.
The Universal NUTLOC™ drip fittings are made from high-impact plastic material to withstand any installation application. They are available to fit various sizes of drip tubing and dripline from 1/2” to 5/8”, providing a simple solution when connecting two ends of drip irrigation tubing or dripline that are not the same size. The fittings use an assembly configuration that includes a barb, a nut with female thread and a male thread adapter to connect different sizes of drip tubing and dripline. They hold the drip tubing or dripline from the inside with the barb and from the outside with a compression-type threaded nut.
To connect any two sizes of poly drip tubing with .530 ID, .600 ID or .620 ID, use the following steps:
Installation Steps
To connect the drip tubing or dripline, rotate the locking nut all the way backward or counterclockwise to the end, exposing the barb.
Insert the drip tubing or dripline entirely over the barb; wiggling it back and forth may help (use with any size between (.520 ID to .620 ID) or (.620 OD to .710 OD).
Screw the nut over the drip tubing, turning the nut forward or clockwise and tighten, locking the drip tubing in place. Repeat the steps for the other side.
The NUTLOC™ fittings can be reused by rotating the locking nut backward or counterclockwise and pulling the drip tubing out of the barb; wiggling it back and forth can help.
